Earth and Rain Story..

The sky is so dark and cloudy. Earth will be accompanied by Rain soon. She feels please to welcome Rain. But, suddenly some of Thunderbolts feel jealous of Earth’s happiness. They come to Earth’s party without being invited. They ruin Earth’s party which held to welcome Rain. Earth feels sad. Earth feels afraid. She is disappointed with Thunderbolts attitude. The Thunderbolts ignore what Earth feel. They just laugh and laugh. They laugh because Earth feels sad. The laugh of Thunderbolts is ear-shattering, making Earth more afraid. Then Thunderbolts hide in order to make Earth feel happy for a second. And then they coming again, they come with anger, they angry because Earth doesn’t like them. Now the Thunderbolts getting more and more annoy. They ask their cousins Tornado and Hurricane to join them annoy the Earth. Tornado and Hurricane come for having some fun. But they are getting bored soon and then left their cousins there.

Earth tries to get up from her upset. She feels she must get stronger. She is grateful knowing Rain still there accompany her. Earth has her believe, like kids who believe on Santa Claus, She believes in her heart, that she is able to chase the Thunderbolts away. Quietly Rain still accompanies Earth. Earth very much believe that Rain always help her in his quietness. And then Earth asks her children, Mountain, Sea, Jungle, Farm, and Lake. She asks her children whether her children feel afraid or not. Then the first Earth’s son, Mountain wisely answers, “Mom, we will feel afraid if you feel afraid, but we will not feel afraid if you not feel afraid too.” Mountain’s answer makes Earth feel better than before. Earth take a look on Rain, he still accompanies her in silent.

Suddenly Earth has her braveness to fight Thunderbolts. She blows lava from her eldest son, Mountain. Thunderbolt shocked for a moment, but he thought Earth just threatened him. For second attack, Earth shook her second child, Sea in order to make the water on Sea’s body ‘koclak’ and attacked Thunderbolts. Sea was very proud could help his mother fight Thunderbolts. Without his mother order, he now makes his body ‘koclak’ many times and makes all of Thunderbolts ‘konslet’ and die. Earth sees her son, she feels happy and sad at once. She happy and proud knowing her son makes all Thunderbolts die, but she feels sad knowing her son’s body in danger. Sea is look like ‘Gatut Kaca’ who fight too brave and ignore the risk because of his anger. Earth cries knowing her son in danger. Sea lost much of water on his body. Earth knows for sure that Sea is impossible to survive. Then she prays to ‘Sang Hyang Bathara Guru’, she wishes for her son recovery. Sang Hyang Bathara Guru answers Earth wishes with make an order to Rain to give more water to Sea. Suddenly Sea recovered from dehydration. Earth is very much happy and grateful to Sang Hyang Bathara Guru and Rain.
